Gentil is an artist who escaped from Burundi. He used to run workshops for younger artists and was accused by the federal government of coaching insurgent troopers so he needed to flee. He now lives together with his grandmother and nephews, who he helps within the Nakivale Refugee Settlement.

Gentil, identical to some other refugees, confronted challenges of entry to finance and earnings alternatives in the settlement. Nevertheless, by means of our accomplice financial institution, he obtained a small mortgage. He used his mortgage to arrange an area portrait enterprise.
